69 People Suddenly Became Dollar Millionaires After Biden's Inauguration

After the inauguration of U.S. President Joe Biden, 69 individuals across the country won a million dollars or more in lotteries within just six days, reports Newsweek.

One Powerball winner hit a $730 million jackpot in Maryland about 12 hours after Biden took office. Two days later, a $1 billion Mega Millions lottery ticket was sold in Michigan, marking the third billion-dollar jackpot in U.S. history.

In total, 69 lucky ticket holders became dollar millionaires in the first four days of Biden's presidency. Powerball drawings occur in multiple states on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with jackpots starting at a minimum of $20 million and regular prizes reaching one to two million dollars. Mega Millions drawings take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.
