Significant Turmoil in the 'My Step' Faction of the National Assembly

According to reports from the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd', there is significant turmoil in the 'My Step' faction of the National Assembly these days. The issue at hand is that many members of the faction have unexpectedly learned that their leader, Lilit Makunts, is preparing to leave them in the near future.

Based on information circulating within the faction, after the end of the war, Makunts has sought to find exits from the current situation, as she is in a psychologically challenging state and, it can be said, is unable to fulfill her functions within the faction.

For a long time, Makunts has been having discussions with political authorities regarding these matters, and it has finally been concluded that she will be appointed as an ambassador in some country, with the option of becoming the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in the United States currently under discussion.

However, a significant issue arises with Makunts' potential departure from the faction; the question of who will lead the faction in her absence becomes critical. According to our sources, a variety of names are currently being discussed. Some believe that the faction's secretary, Hakob Simidyan, could even be assigned this role, as he has effectively been managing the faction's affairs over the years.

The matter is that Simidyan holds discussions with all the deputies on various matters, from voting to seemingly minor issues. It is possible that Simidyan will begin to lead the faction.

However, our sources also indicate that a female deputy might replace Makunts, with Arpi Davoyan's name also on the list of candidates being discussed. Members of 'My Step' believe that answers to these questions will soon be found, as Makunts no longer wishes to remain in parliament.
