Meeting of Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan Discussed by Mher Grigoryan's Office

A meeting between the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan will take place in Moscow in the coming days. This was stated by Ani Babyan, the assistant to Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, in an interview with 24News.

She mentioned that there is no specific date set for the meeting yet. Regarding the agenda, the assistant noted: “No specific direction or infrastructure is highlighted in the agenda; it involves discussions on various issues related to regional transport unblocking.”

Recall that following the tripartite meeting on January 11 in Moscow between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a joint statement was adopted. According to this statement, a trilateral working group chaired by the deputy prime ministers of the Republic of Armenia, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Azerbaijan will be established to discuss the issues of constructing transport connections.

It is worth mentioning that today RBK reported, citing its sources, that the meeting of the deputy prime ministers would take place tomorrow and that several issues would be discussed, including the construction of a railway through Armenian territory that would connect Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan by land.
