Photos: Biden Couple Move into White House with Dogs
US President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, have moved into the White House with their family pets, two German Shepherds named Major and Champ. This was announced on the pets' Twitter account.
“Friends, what a happy day it is! We are now at home in the White House with Mom and Dad… We missed them, and they missed us,” the message reads.
Interestingly, Major has become the first dog to be adopted from a shelter to live in the White House. This marks the official return of dogs to the presidential residence after former President Donald Trump became the first president in the last century to not have pets at the White House.
