Young Man Who Stabbed Residents of Voskekhasq Village Detained

On January 16, around 1:30 PM, the police received a report from a medical center that two residents of Voskekhasq village had arrived for treatment with stab wounds. They had been stabbed.

A criminal case was initiated regarding the incident. Criminal investigators carried out a series of urgent measures for the investigation, including creating necessary records at the hospital and conducting operational inquiries. As a result, information was obtained indicating that a 20-year-old resident of Voskekhasq stabbed the victims during a domestic dispute.

On the same day, the suspect was taken to the police department of Akhuryan and arrested. Based on sufficient evidence collected during the preliminary investigation, on January 19, he was charged under the article of the Criminal Code concerning "Causing Medium Bodily Harm Intentionally." The 20-year-old has been remanded in custody.
