"'I am Armenia' will soon be announced by Madam Makunts, whom Nikol Pashinyan has decided to appoint as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Armenia to the USA due to her special merits. Even if we assume that Makunts is not a bad person, there is no doubt that she is an incompetent politician, and moreover, an incompetent diplomat. In fact, she is not a diplomat at all. Her ignorance is evidenced by various levels, including inter-parliamentary and foreign policy failures. Pashinyan first appointed Makunts as Minister of Culture, then as the head of his faction. Makunts, who is known as Pashinyan's English teacher, has one advantage: Nikol trusts her implicitly. This is why by sending her to the USA, Pashinyan decided to kill two birds with one stone: to save Makunts from a sinking ship and to use her in a dirty game between two superpowers.
