Tavush Region to Be New Residence for About 20 Families from Artsakh

The Tavush region will become the new residence for around 20 families from Artsakh. The first family from Artsakh is set to move to the village of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur in Tavush as early as spring, finding a permanent home there. This information was shared by the Tavush Regional Administration.

The 'Pharos' Foundation is providing an opportunity for families who had to leave their homes in territories now under Azerbaijani control to resettle in the Tavush region. According to Sevan Amiryan, the program director of the 'Pharos' Foundation, around 20 families are expected to benefit from this initiative, and he hopes that the number will increase.

Several houses in Nerkin Karmiraghbyur have already been selected and purchased, and the renovation phase is currently underway. Families will be resettled not only in Nerkin Karmiraghbyur but also in several other villages throughout the region.
