Attempts Made to Assault MP Rustam Bakoyan
The ruling party MPs continue to face issues within society following the disgraceful defeat in the war. After the announcement on November 9 by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which handed over approximately 75% of Artsakh's territories to the enemy, many officials have gone underground to avoid public condemnation. However, during those days, a significant number of them faced unfavorable public attitudes, and some were even subjected to violence.
According to reports from "Factinfo," representatives of the people attempted to assault ruling party MP Rustam Bakoyan. During that time, he had been hiding in the Ajapnyak community at a friend's house. Neighbors learned of his presence and tried to punish him for the defeatist policies pursued by the ruling team. A scuffle broke out, and attendees hurled insults at the MP.
After the incident, Rustam Bakoyan rushed to the Ajapnyak police station to report the crime. He informed the police that he had been insulted, had attempts made on his life, and that his vehicle had been damaged. An investigation is currently underway.
