Lavrov Summarizes Joint Work Results with Diplomats in the CIS, CSTO, and EAEU Framework

On January 21 in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held his traditional meeting with ambassadors of CIS member countries. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It was noted that the meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Executive Committee - Executive Secretary of the CIS, Sergey Lebedev, the Secretary General of the CSTO, Stanislav Zas, and the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Mikhail Myasnikovich.

“During the discussion, the results of the joint work carried out in 2020 within the framework of the CIS, CSTO, and EAEU were summarized, and further steps aimed at the development of cooperation were outlined. The importance of coordinating multi-level integration processes in the post-Soviet space was emphasized,” the Russian Foreign Ministry's message stated.

The participants of the meeting also exchanged views on current international and regional issues.
