We Did Not Have the Opportunity to Stop the War with Fewer Territorial Losses, Says Prime Minister

We did not have the opportunity to stop the war with fewer territorial losses, and it is a myth that we did not take steps to end the war. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Parliament while answering the question of Prosperous Armenia Party MP Naira Zohrabyan.

The Prime Minister recalled that a tripartite declaration was signed in Moscow on October 11, following which there were mediations from the Presidents of France and the USA. “It is important to note that Armenia has taken steps to stop the war,” he said.

Pashinyan continues to assert that he is the number one responsible for what happened and that he still bears that responsibility today. “This responsibility does not end with November 9; it continues to this day. If we found that we needed to resign, we would, and that would be a very easy and irresponsible solution. We will bear political responsibility, as well as moral responsibility before our people, and no one will avoid that,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

He noted that part of this responsibility is to preserve the power that belongs to the people, ensuring that no one takes it away, as has been taken away for many years.
