My Step Deputy Involved in Accident in Front of Former Mayor Taron Margaryan’s House
On January 19, due to the heavy snowfall in the republic, around 200 road traffic accidents occurred in Yerevan alone. Among these accidents, 7 involved citizens being transferred to hospitals with varying degrees of bodily harm, while the others resulted only in material damage.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, around 14:30 on the street Babajanyan in the Avan administrative district, cars collided in front of the house of former Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan. The vehicles involved include a Toyota with license plate 010 HH 11, a Toyota with license plate 71 AA 888, a Renault with license plate 787 AM 61, and an Opel with license plate 36 OM 371. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the accident, which was caused by snow that had not been cleared from the road.
Emergency services from the Yerevan traffic police and representatives from insurance companies arrived promptly at the scene. According to G. Shamshyan, the Toyota with license plate 010 HH 11 belongs to Shirak Torosyan, a deputy from the My Step alliance who previously served as a quota deputy for the Republican Party. The Renault is registered to the company Veoila Jur.
