Larsi is Closed: 730 Trucks Piled Up on the Russian Side
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed to all types of vehicles due to the risk of an avalanche. Additionally, there are 730 trucks piled up on the Russian side.
According to information from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ban on foreigners entering Georgia remains in effect. However, the ban does not apply to cargo transportation.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
