Consultation Held Between Deputy Foreign Ministers of Russia and Armenia: Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
On January 20, Igor Morgulov, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, held a consultation with Avet Adonts, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The discussions focused on issues related to the cooperation between the two countries in strengthening security in the Eurasian region, including enhancing partnerships with the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization), the CSTO, and the CIS, as well as developing economic connectivity in the continent, primarily within the context of building the Eurasian Economic Union and efforts being made within the framework of China's 'Belt and Road' initiative," the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release.
The ministry noted that the negotiations took place in a constructive and trustful atmosphere, contributing to the coordination of cooperation between the foreign policy departments of Russia and Armenia.
