I Will Not Give Up Using the Word ‘Zhek’, My Statement Was in a Completely Different Context: Zohrabyan

I agree with Gagik Tsarukyan's assessment regarding Vazgen Manukyan's remarks in Gyumri. This was stated by NA Prosperous Armenia faction MP Naira Zohrabyan during a brief conversation with journalists in the National Assembly.

It is noteworthy that Vazgen Manukyan referred to the Gyumri residents who blocked his and his supporters' way as 'bombzhs', alleging that the government sent them to block the road in exchange for money.

“I understand that emotions sometimes intensify, and situations arise where one cannot remain within the framework of adequate lexicon. We are political figures and should not fall victim to provocations,” said Zohrabyan, adding that it is indeed difficult to maintain self-control in such situations.

When asked if she would stop using the word ‘zhek’, the MP replied, “I will not give up using the word ‘zhek’, my statement was in a completely different context...”

In response to a remark about disagreements in the Prosperous Armenia party regarding Vazgen Manukyan's candidacy, N. Zohrabyan struggled to answer, noting that she does not have complete information as she is currently occupied with issues concerning prisoners of war. She urged to direct such questions to the faction's secretary.

Zohrabyan mentioned that the Prosperous Armenia party may have disagreements on certain issues with the other 16 parties, but their agenda remains the same: the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan.
