These People Do Not Understand That the Resumption of War Is Not Solely Dependent on Us: Tigran Abrahamyan

These people still do not understand that Azerbaijan and Turkey are not satisfied with what they have gained, and after the war, they explicitly announced the next directions of attack.

This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the Analytical Center 'Henaket,' on his Facebook page, referring to the earlier statement of Vice President of the National Assembly Lena Nazaryan, who mentioned that various experts say we will live peacefully for a few years, strengthen ourselves, rearm, and achieve our share of victory, and that she considers this line of thinking retrogressive and harmful.

‘These people still do not realize that Armenians can only be saved by weapons. These people do not understand that the resumption of war is not solely dependent on us. They have not learned what the army is and what role its constituent members—conscripts, contract soldiers, and officers—play. These people have not only lost, but they continue the process of defeat; they even fear to think or perhaps dream of victory, so to speak, because for them, the priority is not the homeland, our land and water, or what our fallen friends have built, but their own position and welfare.

To save their own skin, they destroy everything—from national dignity to state institutions, values, the spirit of a warrior—without realizing that we are all in the same boat and will all feel the heavy consequences of the next blows, including themselves,’ Abrahamyan wrote.
