No Azerbaijanis in Yerevan, Defense Ministry Addresses Rumors

No representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have been in Yerevan. This was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Defense in a conversation with Auroranews.

“Representatives of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran were present, who are in Armenia on a working visit,” they informed us.

It is worth noting that Narek Samsonyan had published a photo on his Facebook page with a caption stating, “Right now, in Yerevan City Komitas, 4 Azerbaijanis are shopping under the escort of Ministry of Defense and Police employees. The territory of the supermarket is strictly controlled from both outside and inside. Tomorrow, these same people will enter your homes accompanied.”
