Araik Harutyunyan Attended the Funeral of Fallen Hakob Harutyunyan

The Governor of Armavir Region, Hambardzum Matevosyan, along with the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, attended the funeral ceremony of Hakob Volodi’s Harutyunyan, who was killed in the Second Artsakh War, in the Myasnikyan community today.

Governor Hambardzum Matevosyan extended his condolences to the family, relatives, and residents of the community, expressing his respect and sympathy, noting that the Armenian nation will endure as long as there are brave fighters like Hakob, who have earned the honor of being called the descendants of the Immortal Heroes of Armenia with their steadfast dreams and unfulfilled lives.

President Araik Harutyunyan expressed profound regret and support for the fallen hero, posthumously awarding him the title of “Hero of Artsakh” for his exceptional services in ensuring the defense and security of the homeland, as well as bravery and personal courage, and presented the “Golden Eagle” medal to his family.
