Mane Tandilyan Meets with Director of the Soldiers' Insurance Fund

On January 15, a group of employees from the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, and Migration of the Artsakh Republic, headed by Minister Mane Tandilyan, held a meeting with Varoujan Avetikyan, the Director of the Soldiers' Insurance Fund.

The purpose of the meeting was to provide detailed information to the ministry's responsible employees dealing with social support regarding the procedures for compensating soldiers who were killed or disabled during the war, as well as other related matters.

Mr. Avetikyan presented information on the main directions and mechanisms of the fund's activities and subsequently answered questions raised by those present.

During the meeting, ways to inform citizens about the procedures for providing compensations by the fund and potential alternatives to avoid unnecessary complications were also discussed. It was particularly emphasized the need to develop a mechanism that would allow aligning the data of families of fallen soldiers and disabled veterans, whose names have not been included in the lists for various reasons, with the requirements of the fund. For instance, those who participated in self-defense battles in a village without registering in the relevant military commissariat.

Implementing such a program would ensure the relevancy and impartiality of the activities carried out by the fund.
