VIDEO: Two Young Men Stabbed in Nor Nork
On January 9, at midnight, a brawl involving a group of individuals ended with stabbings on Gay Avenue. Hours later, two reports were received by the Nor Nork police department regarding the same incident. One hospital reported that a 23-year-old man had sought medical assistance for stab wounds to his hip, which he had allegedly received from an unknown assailant near the statue of Gay.
The other report came from a different hospital, where a 27-year-old man was admitted with stab wounds to his abdomen, reportedly sustained in Nor Nork due to a fall.
As a result of immediate measures taken by the criminal investigation team, it was determined that during a dispute over household issues near the statue of Gay, the 27-year-old man, who initially claimed his injury was from falling, had actually stabbed the 23-year-old man. In retaliation, the 23-year-old's friend, a 19-year-old resident of Moldovan Street, stabbed the 27-year-old man.
Following explanatory work, the 19-year-old presented himself to the Nor Nork police on January 10 and provided a confession. Other participants in the brawl also sustained injuries. The circumstances are under investigation.
