The Issue of Armen Sarkissian's Resignation is Not Being Discussed

Recently, the press service of the President of Armenia issued a statement that the President, Armen Sarkissian, who is infected with the new type of coronavirus and was being treated at home, has been transferred to the hospital.

The illness still has a complicated course; President Sarkissian is exhibiting symptoms characteristic of this condition, including high fever and bilateral pneumonia.

Analitik.am attempted to clarify whether the president's health condition is such that the question of resignation is being discussed. In a conversation with us, the president's assistant, Hasmik Petrosyan, responded negatively.
