I Would Be Happy If BHK and LHK Nominate Me Too: Gagik Jhangiryan

I have agreed to be nominated by the My Step faction as a candidate for a member of the Supreme Judicial Council, but I am not moving into executive power, I am not assuming a political position, I am not becoming a member of a political team, I am going into professional work.

"Since nominations from numerically smaller factions do not guarantee success, I have naturally agreed to be nominated by the faction that has a numerical majority, but I am not becoming a member of a political team, I am going into professional work," Gagik Jhangiryan said during an interview with reporters, addressing the question of how he now interacts with the members of My Step, who have accused him of having close ties with the former regime.

He stated that he made this decision recently, as he has now turned 65 years old. "I would be happy if today the Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia factions also nominate me; I would gladly agree to be proposed by them as well," he said. He also noted that he has given his consent to be nominated as a legal member of the Supreme Judicial Council.
