Former Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Armenia Passes Away

Samvel Galstyan, the former Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, has died at the age of 72, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

He served as the head of the Khachik Agricultural District from 1984 to 1991 and was a member of the USSR Supreme Soviet from 1989 to 1991.

In 2001, he was appointed as the Deputy Governor of Ararat Province. He worked as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture from 2003 to 2016 and was released from his position in 2016 at his own request.
