Thanks to Your Ineptitude and Arrogance, We Have Dozens of Prisoners After the War Who Are Not Being Returned Due to Your Lack of Capabilities, Apoyan
On December 15, dozens of residents of Shirak became prisoners. My first reaction to the news was a curse directed at those responsible for this criminal mess. How high does the level of chaos in governance have to reach to have dozens of new prisoners a month after the end of the war? wrote Davit Apoyan, the president of the Yerevan State University Student Council on his Facebook page.
“Secondly, I understood that Azerbaijan will not exchange the new prisoners according to the principle of ‘all for all’ in the November 9 statement, and will demand new concessions in return for their release. Armenia must employ all its diplomatic and political capabilities to secure the return of the prisoners.”
“Of course, the Armenian side returned empty-handed from yesterday's trilateral meeting. To cover up their failure, they did not shy away from talking about ‘serious achievements’ in the negotiations and the ‘economic prospects’ that await us alongside the captivity of our boys.”
“Dear criminals, I have a question for you. How do you sleep at night? Does your conscience not torment you? How do you live with the thought that, thanks to your ineptitude and arrogance, we have dozens of prisoners after a month of the war, who are not being returned home again due to your lack of capabilities and ignorance?” he wrote.
