Russian Defense Ministry on the Situation Regarding the Return of Refugees in Nagorno-Karabakh

More than 48,700 refugees have returned to their homes in Nagorno-Karabakh, with Russian peacekeepers escorting 235 individuals in just one day. This information was provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Russian peacekeepers have escorted another convoy of refugees returning to their homes in Nagorno-Karabakh from the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Buses from Yerevan to Stepanakert have transported 235 refugees. In total, 48,694 refugees have returned," the statement reads.

Monitoring of the ceasefire regime and round-the-clock surveillance of the situation is being conducted at 23 observation posts.
