According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on January 8, investigators from the Investigative Committee of Armenia, in collaboration with the Ararat region prosecutor's office, uncovered a particularly brutal murder that took place in the Ararat region.

Those suspected of committing the murder have been brought by the Ararat police, including 61-year-old Norair N., 17-year-old K. M., 55-year-old Tigran P., 17-year-old M. M., and 57-year-old Jora B.

It was found that on January 5, the aforementioned individuals had an argument concerning household matters with 59-year-old Petros A. in one of the rooms of the Vedi City Hall, located at 6 Tumanyan Street in Vedi. During this dispute, Norair N., Marsel M., K. M., and Jora B. assaulted Petros A. with various objects, beating him to death.

On the night of January 7, around 11:30 PM, Karen M., along with N. M., used a Toyota Corolla owned by N.'s father, 45-year-old Tigran M., to transport the victim's body, which was placed in a wooden box. They left the body near Vedi Gomer, in a field path leading from Vedi city to the village of Khachrashan.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Vedi investigative department under Article 104, Part 2, Point 7 of the RA Criminal Code. K. M., Marsel M., Norair N., and Jora B. have been arrested. The vehicle used in the transportation has also been discovered and transferred to the secure location of the Ararat police department.
