Cases of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Registered in Stepanakert

On January 7, a report was received by the Stepanakert Police Department from the "Arevik" Pediatric Medical Center about a case of carbon monoxide poisoning involving a resident of the capital, L. S., born in 2004, who was admitted that day at around 16:30.

Investigations revealed that L. S. was poisoned by carbon monoxide emitted from a water heater while taking a bath in their home at approximately 15:30 on the same day. The Stepanakert Police Department is conducting the investigation.

On January 7, another report was received from the Republican Medical Center about two residents of the capital, R. A., born in 1984, and M. M., born in 1982, who were admitted at around 21:50 for carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, at approximately 21:10 that same day, three residents from the same address, V. M., born in 2011, another V. M., born in 2006, and M. H., born in 2003, were also admitted to the "Arevik" Pediatric Medical Center due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

It was determined that these individuals were poisoned by carbon monoxide emitted from a gas water heater located in their kitchen at building No. 7 on A. Mkrtchyan Street around 14:00 on the same day. The Stepanakert Police Department is conducting the investigation.
