Cases of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Recorded in Stepanakert

The Artsakh Police has reported that cases of carbon monoxide poisoning have been recorded in Stepanakert.

According to the statement from the Artsakh Police, on January 7, a report was received from the 'Arevik' Children's Medical Center about the carbon monoxide poisoning of a resident of the capital, identified as L. S., born in 2004, who was admitted around 16:30.

It was determined during the investigation that L. S. suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning while taking a bath in his home around 15:30, caused by emissions from a water heater.

On the same day, the 'Republican Medical Center' reported to the Stepanakert Division of the Artsakh Police that at 21:50, two residents, R. A., born in 1984, and M. M., born in 1982, were admitted due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, at 21:10, three children from the same address, V. M., born in 2011, V. M., born in 2006, and M. H., born in 2003, were admitted to the 'Arevik' Children's Medical Center for the same reason.

It was established that these individuals had been poisoned around 14:00 due to emissions from a gas water heater located in their kitchen in building number 7 on A. Mkrtchyan Street.
