I’ve Only Had One Day to Know Menua, But That One Day Feels Like a Whole Life Now: Harutyunyan

Today we bid farewell to Menua Hovhannisyan, a hero of Artsakh. With a heavy heart, I bow my head before his remains and all of his loved ones. I’ve only had one day to know him, but that one day feels like a whole life now.

This was written on Facebook by the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan.

“Dear Menua, the dedication and feats of you and the thousands of our boys who participated in this patriotic war will always accompany the living and future generations as a sacred message. We all must draw a great lesson from your example of loving our Homeland unconditionally—with respect for what we have, cherishing it, and passing it on to our descendants. Rest in peace...” Harutyunyan wrote.
