Vladimir Putin Congratulates Armen Sarkissian on New Year and Christmas Holidays

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Office of the President of Armenia.

“I hope that the difficulties and anxieties brought by the outgoing year will remain in the past. I want to reaffirm my commitment to further developing Russian-Armenian allied cooperation for the benefit of our two brotherly peoples and for the strengthening of peace and security in the South Caucasus region. I wish you and your loved ones good health, happiness, and success, and to all citizens of Armenia, peace and prosperity,” the congratulatory message from the President of the Russian Federation stated.

On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, a commemorative set of stamps dedicated to the Hero of the Soviet Union, Gevorg Vardanyan, has been presented to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian.
