Nearly 800 Residents of Artsakh Received Medical Assistance at Russian Military Field Hospital

The special medical unit of the Russian peacekeeping forces continues to provide assistance to the local population in both Stepanakert and other areas of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Multifunctional medical brigades have been created to ensure the field work of military doctors in remote areas of Nagorno-Karabakh. Over the past day, Russian military doctors have provided medical assistance to more than 40 residents of the village of Gishi.

In total, more than 800 residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, including 100 children, have received quality medical assistance at the military field hospital. All patients were assessed by qualified therapists, surgeons, and other specialized professionals in a mobile hospital before receiving consultations and necessary prescriptions.

Local residents’ appeals are generally related to the exacerbation of various chronic diseases, cardiovascular and endocrine system disorders, as well as the provision of dental care.

More than 60 doctors, including military surgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, therapists, and epidemiologists, are working in the special medical units of the Russian peacekeeping forces.
