Launch of Social Support Program for Artsakh Residents Who Lost Real Estate
The Armenian government's social assistance program for Artsakh residents who lost real estate due to the war has commenced. Each beneficiary of this social support program will receive a one-time assistance of 250,000 AMD.
The beneficiaries are citizens who have lost residential real estate as a result of the destruction caused by the war or for other reasons. This social assistance program also includes residents of the following communities: Parukh, Khndzoresk (Khndzoresk, Karing, Pertosashen, Spitakashen villages), Hin Tagher, Taghavard, Charektar, Berdzor, Agavn, Karegah, Nerk'in Sus (Sus, Gihut, Nerk'in Sus, Urmia villages).
Individuals who are beneficiaries of the assistance program established by the Armenian government decision of November 21, 2020 (assistance amount: 300,000 AMD) for citizens registered in communities that came under the control of Azerbaijan following the hostilities that began on September 27, 2020, are not eligible for this program.
The one-time cash assistance is provided by the social security service of the Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs based on an application submitted electronically.
