The investigation into a criminal case initiated on the grounds of causing serious harm to another's health intentionally has been completed at the Lori Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigation Committee. The investigation revealed that on May 7, 2020, around 11:30 AM, a 74-year-old resident of Vanadzor city in Lori province noticed a 64-year-old fellow citizen along with his dogs in the adjacent area behind his house and sought to remove the animals from his territory. However, a disagreement ensued between the citizens regarding this matter, during which the 74-year-old man intentionally attacked the fellow citizen with a knife, injuring the right side of his chest and causing life-threatening harm to his health.

Furthermore, the 74-year-old man illegally possessed smokeless powder, classified as a projectile explosive material, which was discovered and seized during a search of his house on May 7, 2020. Based on the evidence collected during the pre-trial proceedings, charges have been brought against the 74-year-old resident of Vanadzor under Article 112 (Deliberate infliction of serious harm to health) and Article 235 (Illegally acquiring, selling, holding, transporting or carrying weapons, military supplies, explosive materials or explosive devices) of the RA Criminal Code. A signature not to leave has been chosen as a preventive measure against him. The preliminary investigation has been completed, and the criminal case has been sent to court with an accusatory conclusion.
