You Cannot Organize Snap Elections, Know That It Is Pregnant with Bloodshed, Marukyan to the Authorities

You today proved that you cannot organize snap elections. Addressing My Step MPs from the podium of the parliament, Edmond Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia faction, stated, “You cannot go out on the campaign trail, and no one’s safety can be ensured. I do not rule out that our safety might not be ensured either.”

He condemned the manifestations of violence and called for restraint. “And I want to say that in these conditions, for example, today’s incidents speak about the fact that you cannot organize snap elections. And when you talk about snap elections, know that it is pregnant with bloodshed. You are leading the country into turmoil, into bloodshed,” declared Edmond Marukyan.
