Tomorrow the same Pashinyan may announce that Azerbaijan has demanded Meghri or Vardenis: Abrahamyan
Days ago, I addressed the law enforcement agencies to clarify the circumstances under which, so to speak, several sections of Zangelan and Qubadli were handed over to Azerbaijan, despite the fact that this did not fit within the provisions of the joint statement of November 9. I posed the same question, based on the same grounds, regarding the villages of Hin Tagher and Khzraberd in the Hadrut region and the Dizapayt mountain area.
This was reported by Tigran Abrahamyan, head of the analytical center 'Henaket', on his Facebook page.
'The law enforcement officials naturally did not respond because they knew very well what had happened, and they equally bear responsibility for it. And just yesterday, I received an answer to those inquiries from Pashinyan’s interview with H1. It turns out that all claims were correct, that these areas were handed over to Azerbaijan without any basis, in the literal sense of the word. This includes the Syunik highway section and several settlements. The Prime Minister noted that the handover of these territories was not envisaged by the November 9 trilateral statement, however, a verbal agreement was reached regarding it, citing the risk of potential war as the reason.
Do you understand what is happening? Tomorrow the same Pashinyan may announce that Azerbaijan has demanded Meghri or Vardenis town, otherwise threatening a new war, and on that basis, he will hand over new territories to Azerbaijan. The villages of Hin Tagher and Khzraberd, which were part of the former NKR’s Hadrut region and were not among the security zone areas referred to by Pashinyan, were also handed over to Azerbaijan under the same verbal agreement. And Pashinyan speaks with such an innocent, somewhat proud face about the additional handed over areas, as if he has performed a heroism. And not only that he presents it this way, but moreover, he threatens us with a new war, claiming that by handing over territories, he has prevented war and saved human lives.
What secret or verbal agreement he has with Azerbaijan, he did not elaborate. In short, everything is completely clear now, also according to Pashinyan's testimonies. It is a pity that the relevant institutions have been destroyed, their leaders do not even have the morality to write a resignation and leave, not to mention starting processes based on necessary legal procedures,' wrote Abrahamyan.
