Modern Poultry Farm to Launch in Arzni; Minister Attends Inauguration
The Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan, and Deputy Minister Tigran Gabrielyan visited the "Arzni Breeding Poultry Farm" company, where they attended the inauguration ceremony of a new poultry farm equipped with modern technology.
The newly introduced technologies have been partially acquired under the state support program for financial leasing of agro-food sector equipment.
Accompanied by the company's CEO Gegham Janvelyan, the officials toured the poultry farm, familiarizing themselves with the breeding and care conditions of the birds, as well as the production capacities available.
Gegham Janvelyan informed that the farm will implement automated systems for feeding, water supply, ventilation, egg collection, and other processes, which will minimize human factors while ensuring the integrity and market appearance of the egg shells produced. He noted that while previously such farms could maintain only 22,000 birds, thanks to the introduction of modern equipment from the renowned German company Hellmann, this farm can now accommodate up to 70,000 birds.
The company's CEO expressed hope that the application of modern technologies will increase productivity while maintaining food safety standards, reducing the cost of eggs, and offering consumers higher quality products at more affordable prices.
Summarizing the results of the tour, Minister Vahan Kerobyan stated, "As you know, the biggest obstacle to doing business in Armenia is the accessibility of financial resources, and one of the main missions of the Ministry of Economy should be to make funds accessible to entrepreneurs through various channels. We need efficient and modern economies that can make our economy competitive not only at the level of Armenia but also globally."
The re-equipping of the "Arzni Breeding Poultry Farm" will continue, and soon two more poultry farms of the same capacity will be put into operation.
