Haratunyan Involved as Suspect in Criminal Case for Inciting Violence

A video titled "Nikol, You Changed Our Textbooks and Holidays" has been published on YouTube, where Aram Haratunyan, the president of the "National Accord" party, is allegedly calling for the public justification of violence. This has been reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

In connection with the incident, the Investigative Committee's Yerevan City Investigative Department has initiated a criminal case under Article 226.2 of the RA Criminal Code (public calls for the use of violence, public justification, or propaganda of violence). Aram Haratunyan has been involved as a suspect, and a preventive measure in the form of a signature not to leave has been chosen for him.
