They Did GPS Boundary Clarification Among Themselves and Left, They Didn't Say Anything: Shurnukh Village Head
After about an hour of GPS boundary clarification, Azerbaijani and Russian representatives, along with our border guards, left the Shurnukh area. This was stated by the Shurnukh village head, Hakob Arshakyan, in a conversation with NEWS.am.
“I personally was not present, so I cannot say what results they achieved. They did not tell anyone anything, for example, to get ready to move and so on. They merely clarified the boundaries among themselves and left,” noted Arshakyan.
According to the Shurnukh village head, the situation in the village is normal at the moment, and there is no panic. “Everyone is sitting at home with a combat readiness, prepared not to concede that land. We will see what the final decision will be; we will understand,” he emphasized.
Earlier, the Shurnukh village head had reported that Azerbaijanis were in Shurnukh and boundary demarcation works were being carried out.
