As of December 20, forensic examination has been conducted on the bodies of 3,248 fallen servicemen. According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 1,874 DNA samples have been taken from relatives since the beginning of the war for the organization of the identification and recognition process, and 1,218 DNA samples have been taken from the bodies.

As of December 20, 718 samples are in the research phase. To date, 361 bodies have been identified through forensic genetic examination. The ministry notes that the studies and identifications are ongoing.
