Arman Babajanyan Responds to Allegations of Hitting a Pedestrian
Arman Babajanyan, a member of the National Assembly of Armenia, addressed allegations made on Facebook regarding an incident where a woman crossing the street was supposedly hit by a car belonging to him.
In his post, Babajanyan stated, “Just moments ago, a Facebook user made a post claiming that I hit a woman crossing the street with my car, did not stop, and did not inquire about her well-being. I would like to clarify that I have not driven the car for a long time as I am a very poor driver, and most of the time I am working in the vehicle. Those who know my driver will attest to his professionalism and integrity.”
He further asserted, “At least, I can confirm that during my entire time in the car today, no such incident occurred. My driver has ruled out the possibility that any such event took place.”
Babajanyan also urged the author of the post to provide specific details about the time and location of the alleged incident or to allow him to contact them directly. He added, “If anyone other than the author of the post can provide details about the incident or the affected woman, please send me a personal message.”
