Snow Expected Across Armenia, Temperatures to Decrease by 8-10 Degrees
On December 23 during the day and on the 24th, due to the penetration of an active cyclone from the Mediterranean Sea, snow is expected across the country, with intensive snowfall in some areas, and blizzards in mountainous regions and passes. This information is provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In the territory of the Republic, on December 23 during the day and on the 24th, significant snowfall is anticipated in most regions, while in mountainous areas and mountain passes, blizzards are expected, and roads may experience freezing rain at night and in the morning. From December 25 to 28, weather conditions are expected to remain dry.
The wind will be from the northeast at 5-10 m/s. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 8-10 degrees during the night of the 25th to 26th.
In Yerevan, during the night of December 23 to 24 and in the morning, the roads of the capital will be covered with black ice. On December 23 during the day and the 24th, snowfall is expected, and roads will face black ice at night and in the morning hours. Rain-free weather is anticipated from December 25 to 28.
