Parliament to Hold Special Session on December 24 – Agenda Revealed
The Parliament will convene for a special session on December 24. This was announced by the chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, Babken Tunyan, during a meeting of the committee, where he informed that two draft bills discussed in the committee will be on the agenda.
One of the draft bills pertains to amendments to the law on 'Reducing and Preventing Harm to Health from the Use of Tobacco Products and Their Substitutes' and the accompanying package of legislative drafts, which proposes to extend the enforcement deadline for three provisions.
“We have gathered signatures for a special session in the National Assembly tomorrow, where in addition to these two drafts, there will be other bills as well. These laws must be adopted by the end of the year and come into force,” stated Babken Tunyan.
