How Many Prisoners Have Been Returned from Azerbaijan So Far? Artaq Beglaryan Reports

Before the return of 44 prisoners of war, several other detainees have been returned as well. This was announced during a press conference by Artsakh Human Rights Defender Artaq Beglaryan.

According to Beglaryan, one woman was returned in October, and by early December, three more detainees were returned, primarily civilians. He stated, "The total number, according to my information, is 53," adding that two civilians officially declared as prisoners have died in Azerbaijani custody. One body has been transferred, while the other has not yet been. In both cases, there is evidence to claim that they were killed in prison. Both were around 80 years old.
