He Was a Symbol of Victory: Vazgen Manukyan on Arkadi Andreasyan

Vazgen Manukyan, the candidate for Prime Minister from the "Homeland Salvation Movement," has expressed his condolences regarding the death of renowned football player, USSR champion and cup winner, Arkadi Andreasyan.

"A legendary footballer, Arkadi Andreasyan, who has crafted glorious pages in the history of Armenian football, has left this world. He was a symbol of victory and pride for all Armenians. Andreasyan's football career was marked by continuous peaks. As part of Ararat, he became the USSR champion and cup winner, and earned a bronze medal at the Olympic Games as a member of the USSR national team. His coaching career is also noteworthy, especially with the Ararat Club. He mentored and inspired thousands of young people, not only in sports but also in life. I extend my deepest condolences to the family, relatives, colleagues, and fans of the distinguished footballer," Manukyan stated.
