The Director of the Emergency Situations Service Visits 6 Soldiers Found After 70 Days
The Director of the Emergency Situations Service, Major General Karen Sargsyan, visited the six military personnel receiving treatment at the Republican Medical Center today. These servicemen spent 70 days in areas under Azerbaijani control.
The Director praised the heroism displayed by these contemporary heroes and expressed gratitude for their extraordinary display of willpower. After receiving updates on the health conditions of the servicemen, Karen Sargsyan expressed his willingness to support them with any issues they may need help with.
It is worth noting that as a result of search and rescue operations conducted in territories under enemy control, the Armenian soldiers were returned to the Armenian side on December 20, thanks to the efforts of the Emergency Situations Service, the Russian peacekeeping contingent operating in Artsakh, and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
