Protests, Strikes, and Class Walkouts to Continue Tomorrow, Rally Scheduled for 16:00
The gathering that started at Republic Square today at 12:00 demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan has concluded, but some participants are refusing to leave the area and will spend the night at the square.
“We will not leave this square as long as that supreme chief clown is sitting in that building,” declared Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the ARF Supreme Body and coordinator of the “Movement for the Salvation of the Fatherland.”
Tomorrow, protests, strikes, and class walkouts will continue throughout the Republic. A large rally is set to take place at Republic Square at 16:00.
Saghatelyan emphasized that Nikol Pashinyan and the ruling “My Step” coalition should understand that their demands have gone unanswered, and therefore, the entire responsibility lies with them.
“We will gather here tomorrow at 16:00 and together we will engage in more decisive and resolute actions,” he noted. Saghatelyan suggested marching around the Government building and reconvening near the stage.
