Photos: Azerbaijani Flag Raised by the Vorotan River in Syunik, Azerbaijani Soldiers Deployed
Today, Azerbaijanis have once again visited the Vorotan community in the Syunik region. According to a correspondent from Tert.am, the Azerbaijanis have already established a presence in that area and have placed the Azerbaijani flag on the left bank of the Vorotan River.
The process of coordinating the deployment of Armenian and Azerbaijani military positions continues, but Azerbaijani soldiers have already been stationed there with defensive structures, including bunkers and positions. From that site, they have the "Tatev" hydroelectric station under their observation, as well as a four-kilometer stretch of the Goris-Kapan road, which has been warned about by the Armenian border guard units and the Vorotan community.
Russian border guards are deployed in the Vorotan community area. It is noteworthy that days ago, Azerbaijanis came to Vorotan with their flag, but under the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, the flag placed in the community area was removed; it was not installed at the position.
