Parents of Conscripts Gathered in Front of the Ministry of Defense Demanding a Meeting with the Minister
Parents of conscripts serving in Artsakh have gathered once again in front of the Ministry of Defense, demanding a meeting with the minister. A representative from the Ministry of Defense has invited five of the parents waiting outside for a meeting.
It is worth noting that the parents had also conducted a protest outside the Government building in the morning. Three participants from the rally had a meeting with the Prime Minister's assistant, Nairi Sargsyan, where they presented their demands directed at Nikol Pashinyan.
According to the parents, the conscripts should continue their service on the territory of Armenia, be eligible for long-term leave for medical purposes, and the service period for wartime conscripts should be reduced by six months. However, the demands presented by the parents were rejected by the government.
