Criminal Case Initiated Following Garnik Isagulyan's Public Calls for Violence

A criminal case has been initiated following public calls for violence by Garnik Isagulyan, the chairman of the 'National Security' party, in a video titled 'One who shoots Nikol should be awarded the title of National Hero or a million dollars in reward' posted on YouTube.
The case was opened on December 22, 2020, under Article 226.2, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, and an investigation is underway.
Notice: A person suspected of or accused of a crime shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedures established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, by a verdict that has entered into legal force.
