100 Percent Denial: Syunik Governor Refutes Statement on Surrendering Chakatent Community

Syunik Governor Melikset Poghosyan has refuted claims made during a rally organized by the "Homeland Salvation Movement" regarding the surrender of the Chakatent community to Azerbaijan. Poghosyan made his statement in an interview with Armenpress, stating, "There is no such thing. I deny it 100 percent."

During the rally held in Republic Square, Prosperous Armenia faction member Naira Zohrabyan mentioned that residents of Chakatent community had reached out to her. She stated, "Dear colleagues, please inform the participants of the rally that right now, the communication operators from Chakatent are removing their antennas, and the villagers have been warned that the community will become part of Azerbaijan and must surrender."
