Driver Crashes Nissan Pathfinder into Thick Tree in Kotayk Region, Injured Reported
On December 6, an accident occurred in the Kotayk region. According to Shamshyan.com, at around 18:30, 49-year-old Hunan Hovhannisyan, a resident of Gegharkunik province, lost control of his Nissan Pathfinder while driving on the Yerevan-Sevan highway at the 42 km mark. The accident was reportedly caused by black ice on the road, leading the vehicle off the driving lane where it crashed into a tree.
A photojournalist reported that the impact broke the thick tree, which then fell onto the vehicle. Witnesses at the scene stated that the icy conditions were the primary reason for the crash.
